My Kindle

For Christmas I opened my a box to my very own Kindle. That's right I opened the box. John actually let me have the Kindle at the beginning of Dec. I must say I love my Kindle. My wrists use to start to hurt depending on the size of the book I read. Now that no longer happens I can read forever with no discomfort. The kindle is so easy on my eyes. It's wonderful. I also love that I can get so many books for free. Granted the ones I read that were a beginning of a series, wish I had actually read that they were part of a series cause I've found some that I really love and must read more. Unfortunately that has meant buying more books. On the upside many books are cheaper on the kindle than in the store.

Since I've gotten my kindle I have read the first 4 books in the Dreamhouse Kings series. I love that series. Awesome! Can't wait for the movie!

I've also read the first 7 in the Vampire Kisses series, very cute teen angst type story.

I've read the first two in the Ivy Malone Series - mystery type stories where an old woman solves the mysteries. I would have never read it knowing that but it turns out I really like the series. And I love that this old woman does the things she does.

Phenomenal girl 5 - not that impressed with. a superhero type book that had potential but lost it somewhere along the way.

50 Diabetes myths that could ruin your life. Very helpful book

the Host - reread that one

I must not forget all the church stuff I've read. My scriptures and every teaching manual are now on my kindle. as well a the ensign and church hymn books, yes that includes primary. Anyway like I said lovin my Kindle. I think I start reading some of the classics that I've never read before. Most if not all classics are free. I really want to read more of the dream house series, but I must wait till payday before I buy more books.

Maybe I'll work on finishing up my own stories. Prof reading and editing them. I also need to finish getting a couple illustrations for them. I'm going to at least publish them on kindle if nothing else.

  1. Very cool! You are quite the reader! Garry won a Nook at work but hasn't used it yet.

  2. New gadgets are so cool! I got a Nook this year from Adam's work Christmas party raffle too and I am so excited to use it! I've already downloaded many of those free classics you mention, and have a couple I've purchased too...but I have to get through a few books I've borrowed from friends first so I can return them to them. It's hard to wait!!!
