a foot and a blurb

Okay here's the story with Jordan's foot. There is no story, ta da. Around christmas time she started complaining about her foot. She however couldn't tell us how she hurt it and she seemed fine most the time. Once school started back up she complained more so we took her in. They said it's not broke but that she probably sprained something in the top of her foot. She could have done it with something as simple as getting on her tip toes to put something on the tree. Anyway, she now has to wear that beautiful shoe for a week. Then try using it normally. If it's not better she wears the shoe for another week and tries it again. If it's not better then she needs to go back in.

That last couple days I've been working on slurping my Livejournal to blurb.Slurping is their word not mine. I love blurb. If you don't know what it is check it out. I've made so many books using them. And now I'm working on making all my blogs into books. They are after all my journal.

I also found out in the last couple days that my characters in the stories I've written. The collection is called the truth behind the fairy tales. They are my demented warped stories that tell my version of the truth about the fairy tales. Anyway, I found out that all the characters I've used are public domain. Yes!! Now I might try to do something with them. I just don't know how to go about doing that. My stories are geared toward older youth.

My mom, Kathy read one of my stories and thought it was pretty dark. I warned her before hand. Granted they aren't all dark. For example the old woman that live in a shoe. I think she's pretty funny. The truth however is that most fairy tales are very dark. My thing now is getting a couple illustrations for my stories. I don't need them but, I like seeing my stories visualized. I have a friend that was going to draw some but she has since moved and become very busy. Man, I miss her. JD keeps saying he wants to draw them but, he never does. I don't even want or need fancy drawings. Just something quickly sketched out. Oh well.
