From Kansas to Yukon

Our Journey was pretty uneventful, just the way I like it. However, from Kansas all the way to our final destination it was either gray clouds or rain. The gray was kinda murkey and very boring, so I tried my best to amuse myself in the car. I tried to play 20 questions, on facebook using just my phone, via texts from facebook. I learned that if you've posted more than one statues and you can't remember what you've post life get very confusing very quickly. receiveing the updates out of orer an not have yours post right away doesn't help either. So I resorted to what I've been trained to do since I was a wee little infant in the car. I slept and ate. It was really weird being on the road with out a carload of nosiy kids. One of the things I was awake enough to see was the windmills in Kansas. Much like the ones below, that is not my pic (I swiped it on the net). The ones we saw were surrounded by fog and actually looked pretty cool. Getting John to stop so I could take a picture. Not likely.
At one of our stops in Kansas I saw the below chapstick (also not my picture) and I had to buy some for my SIS-in- LAW Nichole, it did after all make me think of her. LOL - If you don't know why ask and I might write something up later.
Tenish hours after our journey began we arrived at our first destination. The McCann Home. Home of my dear friend Bo. I meet Bo when we lived in OKC/midwest city/Tinker AFB. We both served in the Primary Presidency for a while. She is an awesome!! Anyway she let us crash for the night at her place. Awesome house BTW. I had a lot of fun visiting and playing with her granddaughter. Her granddaughter Maya and I kinda hit it off. I tend to get along well with people that aren't in my age group, maybe it's because we have the same maturity level.

Below is Gizmo. I want a dog so bad. Just have to save up the 500 dollar fee to have a dog in our rental. This dog found John very comfortable to rest on.
Anyway, I've got to get ready to go. It's almost time to go visit with Josie. I'll write more about our travels when I get the chance.
