dryer time

Okay it's venting time. It's either type here or bite off the head of the cute old Asian man do the maintenance in our apartment. I already think I've talked loudly at him enough for the day. The reason he's at our house is because the dryer every time we run it we have to run it twice to get everything dry. We complained before and people they said you put to much in it. so sometimes you have to run it twice. Ya well we've made sure we don't put to much in it and we still have to run it twice. John has vacuumed it out and now.he wants the maintenance people to clean the extra long vent that leads to the outside world. This vent is the whole reason we aren't allowed to have our own wonderful appliances. Oh how I miss them.

Anyway. This guy is here looking at our stuff again cause john wants them to clean out the vent he feels he shouldn't have to. And he shouldn't this is the reason we pay so much for this lovely apartment. Anyway the guy comes in checks my dryers vent which has very little lint cause I just did a load of whites. He cleaned that off turned my dryer on. Then he tells me it's fine it gets hot. I just need to wash smaller loads and sometimes need to dry twice. That's when I kinda went all mental on him. "NO!" I said firmly I do not do loads that are to big my loads are very small and I still have to run the dryer through two 60 minute cycles. My husband would like you to clean the other vent that leads to the outside to see if that helps. The man just looked at me then started doing something else.

Right now he has just finish cleaning the vent that leads from the dryer to the wall. Still not what we want clean. I want the 20 feet that goes through the wall to the outside world cleaned. I guess I will try it with his "little fix action first and see what happens. Although I must say I really hate it when people treat me like an idiot. Especially maintenance men. Cause I do know something about fixing all kinds of things. In fact I prefer to fix all things myself. However john doesn't like me to spend money fixing things others should have to fix. Oh the guys gone. guess it's time to get back to work and try not to let him live rent free in my head.
