My Minions

For those of you that don't know, I babysit two kiddos. Also know as my minions. Time to introduce you:

This is Brielle, we call her Bree. She is the sweetest Minion ever.

She is a joy to have around. She has one quirk that her mom and I think is funny. When she is at my house and it's time for a nap, the only place she is willing to sleep is my stroller. She will scream her head off anywhere else. However put her in the stroller and leave her there and she'll fall asleep. The thing is she's right at that point that anyday now, she is going to discover she cann't sleep there. Her legs already hang over the edge and her head is halfway off the stroller bed. I find it odd and so does her mom. I think she likes napping in the stroller cause when she wakes up she can get out all by herself. In a playpen, she can't. This little one is very smart. Her problem sloving skills are awesome. I like to create little obsticales for her once in a while just so I can watch her figure it out.

This Cowboyish looking Minion is Zakary

Zak's big thing lately has been potty training. I feel like it's kinda my fault. I got really tired of changing his diapers. He's a sunbeam now and well I'm also lazy. So I decided I wasn't going to wait for his parents anymore. I started potty training him at my house. Yes I told them what I was doing. Anyway, he way potty trained at my house long before he was in his. In fact yesterday he showed up to my house in the above outfit. This is very significant because he is armed with his pee pee pistol and his poo poo rifle. Apparently he named them according to what he had to do to earn them. Anyway, I think it's awesome. And yes, I felt the need to document the occassion. I am so glad he's finally made it to the potty trained world. And if he continues to do well this week he gets to celebrate at Chucky Cheese. And our family is invited. YEAH!!! Granted a 6 foot mouse *raises eyebrow* kinda creepy.

Anyway, those are my minions. I forgot to mention Zak, is a major cuddle bug.

  1. Go Julie! I know you've been waiting on the potty training a long time! It's so liberating when they finally figure it out.
