ugg I hate doctors.

Have I ever mentioned how much I hate doctors? Well let me repeat it yet once again. I hate, yes hate doctors. OKay maybe not all doctors. My appointment this morning didn't change my opinon. I had to go see a ENT. The audiologist I saw 2 months ago wanted a second opinon on weither or not I have Menier's Disease. To be honest, I think I do. Everything I've read about it is like they are talking about me.

Anyway, I'm waiting , and waiting and waiting. Finally the doctors comes in. The first sentence out of his mouth is something about a Brain Tumor. Blah, Blah, blah he wants me to get an MRI to see if I have one. Apparently my Smptoms are often cause by a bening Tumor in the back of the brain. So he says he wants me to schedule one of thse and he started to leave. That's when I asked about Meniers. He seemed surprized that I even knew the word. Pretty much dismissed it and said I don't have it. I just gawked at him like he had three heads or something. THat's when he deside to go on and ask questions that have to do with meniers. Everyone of which had to do with the disease and made it sound like I have it. However, he kept acting like my questions or concerns were stupid or that I had no clue. Then he made me do a bunch of balancing things (pretty sure I was on candid camera). He pointed out some stuff that he said I need to see a nurologist for. I went back to the menier and he pointed out how few people have it and how it probablly that tumor in the back of the brain. Then he said his piece told me to go schedule my MRI and then left.

I feel like he made up his mind before he was even in the room. HEck he didn't even know it was the audiologist that wanted me there. Granted he did have my hearing test in hand.

Guess I go get my MRI, then see what happens next. Sorry about all the bad spelling I'm just not even in the moode to try to correct it. Blah. I hate seeing doctors and being treated like I'm a total idiot.

  2. Sorry that you spent the morning at the Doctors. I hope that you find something out soon. I am also not a fan of doctors. I really think some should have to pass a class on bedside manners, respect and other little things that deal with people.

  3. I totally understand Julie! From one misdiagnosed girl to another, I get it. It so often feels like you are not being heard!! At least you get to rule out the brain tumor.
