looking for my next fix

The above use to hang over our fireplace. It was in fact a complete game we had made using an old picture frame. Well the glass on that frame broke and I wanted to make something new so I took it apart headed to the garage and started painting, plus much more.

I was on a mission. I had seen this entry earlier posted by Twice Remembered and had to make one. Especially because John had said on New Years that If I wanted to make something with the scrabble stuff I could. After all it was missing pieces and playing scrabble in our family is like intentionally starting a war. It has actually ended up a couple times with a board being flipped. Went won't go into it. However, I am not usually a poor sport when it comes to games. Although I am VERY competitive. This seems to be the only game that I really get ticked off about with all the cheating that goes on. Now that you know that I really was born a red head and have the temper. Let me show you the finished product. I really like it. Yes, the letters are magnets. I think thins will look great in our Chicago/entertainment room, Right next to the table and games.

Now however I am stuck trying to find my next fix. I have a couple Christmas crafts I could do. However, I'm just really not in the mood for those. I could start on my "First Five" crafts. Even though I didn't plan on doing any of those, except Sande's cause I'm headed that way shortly, before I got back from Texas. I really should clean up after all there is a trail of destruction in my house that leads from one craft to another. To be honest, I REALLY don't want to clean up. Some part of me thinks that if I leave the house a sty when we go to see Josie, that I won't be disappointed when I come back and it's a mess. That and they are less likely to have friends over to a messy house.

Which reminds me, if ya don't mind could ya drive by once in awhile to make sure there is a gazzillion kids reenacting a party sence from a movie or my house hasn't burned down. Also would be a plus to know that my kids are still alive and not missing limbs. Jeremy is 18 so leaving him in charge "should" work out fine. Unless we have a bad storm. Then he's gonna be freaking out about driving him and his sister to seminary and church. This will be the first time we've left them like this. I really hope Jordan doesn't cook anything that makes her have to use her fire extinguisher. Yes, it is hers for a reason.

Anyway, if you have a craft idea or know of something that I could make out of a discarded Jenga game let me know.
