Okay, I was working on making something special for my aunt. She was the first person on my first five list. For Christmas she got an awesome camera. I wanted to make her a cover for her camera strap. For the very beginning everything went wrong. I accidentally cut it wrong had to start over. Then I tried to get people to give me a list of names she's gone by as well as some words to describe her. I have no patience and couldn't wait for replies so I just wrote words that I feel describes her in addition to the couple replies I received. The strap was going to be complete with a n elastic to hold her camera lens. While doing the embroidery my machine had a malfunction. I broke at least 6 needles. Cause the needle for some reason isn't centered. Grrr. I took the machine apart, wiggled things so see if anything was lose. Couldn't find anything wrong. Wish I knew more about sewing machines so that I could fix it. Managed to finish the words (okay I gave up and didn't put all the names and words that I wanted). Only broke two more needles. Oh almost forgot I only bashed my head twice on the loft bed. My sewing machine sits on the desk of our unused loft bed. the the fabric started fraying really bad so I took it in just a tad. Thinking I had more space than I did. Now it is about an 1/8 an inch to small. Which really sucks. I am in no way shape or form making this again. Below is what it looks like right now I didn't iron it or trim it cause, to be honest what is the point.
Now I'm headed back to the drawing board I already have a different idea in mind for what to make Sande. I gotta hurry and get whatever done cause I will see Sande early Feb.
