Letters

After reading letters that a friend of mine posted on her blog I thought I write some of my own.

Dear Washington,

Thank you so much for holding back my husbands offical retirement paperwork.  We really enjoy being able to experience the ulcers and stress that come with not having my husbands retirement pay for start till he's been retired for 2 months.

Sincerly,
So that's what an ulcer is

Dear VA,

why does it take so long to process someone's disability.  Seriously you've already made some people wait up to 3 years to start receiving their disability pay.  I'm really concerned cause we are on the fast track and we aren't scheduled to possiblly start getting my husband's for almost a year. And that's if there are no problems?!?   I don't mind waiting our turn but it would be be really helpful if you could hire a bunch of people and or learn how to actually use your system properly and process all the claims that your behind on now.  Yes I realize you will back pay us, but creditors really couldn't care less. So PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE process our claim.

Begging you on my knees,
The wife of a Retired Veteran

Dear Social Security,

I am truly suprized by your helpfulness.  We just started trying to process social security disability for my husband and you've sent and done everything in a very, very quick maner.  I appreciate that.  I hope the rest your porcess continues to move as quickly.

Thank You,
Very Surprised and Please

Dear Creditors,

I wish I could understand you.  We tried to talk to you before my husband retired and we tried to set something up to help us transition till my husbands VA benefits kicked in.  You didn't feel the need to help us or even to really take the time and effort to talk to us about this. Now due to unforseen circumstances you are calling us like crazy demanding money that doesn't exsist, temporarilly.  Not only that but you have totally trashed our almost perfect credit scores.    On the upside you've made some other choices easy for us.  Thanks!

Sorry and Good Riddens,
Your soon to be bankrupt clients

Dear Family and Friends,

You have made me feel truly blessed.  You have helped us in ways that I never really imagined possible.  You've brought us meals, fed us, given us rides, to save gas, brought us food , bought our silly DVD's and so much more.  You've even helped keep my spirits up.  Thank you so much for helping us to stay on top of those bills that we really can not ignore and still survive.  I feel truly blessed and loved.  I am so glad you are a part of my life.

Your the Bomb,
someone who can't wait to be able to pay it forward
