I'll let a letter John wrote home tell you about our happenings
"We are all doing fine here, we are down to 3 Julie, Jordan and I.
JD is off at college studying theater, not as a performer but as a stagehand, mainly lighting. He loves doing stage, did it all 4 years of high school.
Jeremy is still serving a mission in the Dominican Republic and loving it, he can hardly speak English anymore. He is excited he will be moving into an area closer to Haiti so he might be picking up some French also. Julie is working on his Christmas present and asks that each of you share a favorite Christmas memory or tradition, you can mail them to me and I will get them to her. Can you also send a picture of your family to go with, and send them as-soon-as-possible, she is putting them in a book and it will take a few weeks to get it printed and about a month to get it to him, thanks.
Jordan is a Junior this year and still loving school, although this is the first year we had to ask her to do her homework, TWICE, can you believe it.
Julie is doing good a few issues but nothing serious.
I am doing ok, the thing in my kidney has seemed to stop growing, the thing in my head was still shrinking last check, headache and migraines still but oh well. Other than that I am doing pretty good. The job is going ok, might be looking for a new one sooner than I had planned but will cross that bridge when I come to it.
Josie is doing pretty well, enjoying the married life. Her husband is getting put out of the Air Force so he will either work or go to school, we hope school. Josie was been a little under the weather lately but only in the mornings and evenings so work is not suffering. She felt a little overwhelmed with hurricane Irene when it was heading for the southern coastline, that is the area she is in charge of forecasting for, but it turned north so she got a little bit of a break. Anyway she made a doctors appointment to get checked out, she saw him yesterday. Today she found out she has to go see a specialist because she has a small growth in her abdomen. She has to find a specialist off base because they do not have any of those doctors on base. We will let you know the due date when we find out, but she has to find an OB first."
Gotta say I hate how he made it sound like nothing is happening with me. I have ome major problems going on. I have Diabetic Neuropothy ( no clue how to spell it.) Basically, I have lost a lot of feeling in my legs and feet. And my brain doesn't know how to communicate with my legs unless it can see them. For someone so new to Diabetes, I have very advanced complications. And my numbers aren't even that bad. It's also messed up my periods. Not that anyone wants to know that but. This is my journal so :p
Okay so now back to John's letter did you happen to notice that last paragraph about the growth in Josie's abdomen? That's right we are gonna be grandparents. I'm totally siked!
Sorry to hear about your health.. We will be praying for you. Congratulations!!!! That will be so fun!!!!!!!! Love you tons!
