The last couple of day have been, eventful and uneventful at the same time. For example I drove thursday the 30 mintues to peterson AFB for some, every three months, lab work. I got there early so I could get home early to get back to the kids I watch and let Jordan get to school. I however got there and what do you know... the doctor hadn't put it in the computer. So I had to do the run around to try to get someone to put it in the system so my trip wasn't pointless.
The next day, my friend Sandie and I decided to get out of the house and go pick up my med refills from Peterson. Sandie was awesome and drove. I love her new car. Anyway, we drove the 30+ mintues to the peterson AFB gate that's closest to the pharmacy. We were almost to the gate when I relized...I didn't have my ID card. Not only could we not get on the base. I wouldn't have been able to pick up my meds even if we could. So, we drove all the way back to my house got my ID card and went all the way back to the base. Finally we were inside I walk up to the window to fetch my meds and guess what? They were closed for some unknown reason. Sandie laughed. I personally felt really bad cause it was her car and gas we were using and so far we acomplished nothing.
Sandie and I now decided that we would run one of Sandie's errands. So off to Costco we went. We get there start to get out of the car, when Sandie realized she didn't have what she needed for in the store. So our morning of running errand managed to accomplish nothing other than quality time talking with a friend.
Later that day life was a little more productive. We went to look at the apartment we want to rent. We loved it. Yes, it's ALOT smaller than where we are now. But we are excited. It has a heated pool, spa, fitness center, club house, receration area, and basketball court. One of the best parts is that we will be living in Brairgate bounderies again. Sad part is we won't be in a ward with some people that we find absolutely awesome. We submitted our application and paid our deposit. Now we just have to wait to be accepted.
