Prom 2010

Okay here's my take on prom. First off this is a corsage I put together for Jessica. My first time to make a corsage. The pic is however stolen from Sandie Porter's Blog (sorry I stolen it :) - but I thank you at the same time)


Jeremy forprom has been looking around and trying to find a nice car to take Jessica in. We thought about renting a car or limo but, that just isn't practical right now. So we've asked different people. One of which would have let him borrow one of her classic cars if she hadn't just sold them. Another was going to bring down a cadilac from denver for them to use. Then we had a snow storm that brought us 8" of snow. You'd never guess from the picture below that that was the day before prom. Jeremy asked one other person, Brother Murdock (sorry I can't remember his first name, I wanna say Chad??? grr this memory of mine) and he let jeremy take his very nice car. Oh my gosh, I love that car. Jeremy took me for a nice casual ride around the block. Very Nice and all the features super cool. anyway that's them below with the car. Finally they were at my house. I'm gonna post some of my least favorite pics here and let Jer post the good ones. This was their idea to take a pic with the letter J, after all the are Jessica and Jeremy. Many people think they are a couple but, they are not. They are however best friends. Besides he's trying to leave for a mission in Aug so.....

Nice Gum guys! They however look really cute. They had fun playing around. While wait for what I thought was "the" other couple to show up.

While we were waiting I decided I needed to go get some pics off my card for the other pictures I still had to take. When I came back in the other room there were four adults standing there that I did not know. I found this odd cause the other couple was Hanna Bishop and her date Codi. I knew Hanna when she was a baby so I knew her parents weren't there. So I thought maybe Jaelyn and her date decided to come for pictures after all. But nope not their parents. Turned out one set belonged to Codi and the other to...... Anyway by the time all was said and done their were six parents in my home and 6 kids other than Jeremy and Jessica. What the hmmm......

I had decided to take my time with the pics and not rush but, with all the extra people, I didn't and I felt really weird and uncomfortable. I was not happy with how any of those pics turned out. To be honest I was also a little unhappy that so many adults were taking pics of their kids in my studio without warning me first. I wouldn't have minded if my son's date showed up. That's not to weird. I also didn't mind a whole lot that Hanna's and codi's showed up. Although I would have really liked to have know that I would have cleaned better. The other people though....
