Finally finished

Okay, so I've finally finished my room. Or at least it's as finished as I'm going to get it. I got the paturn for the bed off of Knock off wood. The site is awesome , check it out. If you look in the pic below you can see the bed, night stand and sign on the wall. All my work. Yes, for those of you just tuning in I cut the wood, sanded, painted and built these things.

The sign above my bed is waiting for my hubby to finish the other half. So till he does, I guess our wall will be missing all eternity.

Below is the framed Heart that was on my head board. No it's not crocked, the pic is. What? You don't know what it is? Fine I will explain. A couple years ago Josie made us a prayer tracker. It was for us to keep track of who's turn it is for couple prayer. The heart is the only thing that remains from it now. One side says John and you can see the other. the frame is actually part of the head board so there is no way it will fall on us. Yes, we've heard of couple that one has odd days the other has even. That didn't work for us cause it always seemed things would happen where we wouldn't be able to pray to get on certain day and one person was saying all the prayers. THIS works for us.

I also added some other unique things to our bed frame. For example, this hook thing. It holds the hose for John's CPAP.

This lovely addition to my nightstand is Charlie's home. Yes, my remote has a name. I was in a weird mood (I know hard to believe) one day so I named it Charlie and the tv is "The BOX" so it's charlie in the box. Can anyone tell me what that's from?

This is the two bookcases we had already in our room that I stacked It holds the sacred Stargate shows that I watch before bed and LOST. Not to mention Carey my 42 year old teddy bear.

The art wall in my opinion need more. Jordan has two Mickey mouse works to put up still but I want more, and I don't want them to be store bought. I want them to be things people I know have done.

This little corner is Where I want all the Church shoes his ties and my Jewelry, which I need to finish hanging up. I made the tie rack, Jewelry holder and made over the chair.

My Mickey Display boxes that I already showed in a previous post. Yes made them too.

This bench was sort of an after thought that I made with leftover wood and left over fabric from reupholstering chairs. Not perfect but it serves it purpose.

Anyway that is my room in photo's. I know not your typical adult room but, I'm not your typical adult. Now onto my next project a Bearded lizard habitat for the Porters. That is if I can get my house cleaned up first. It has suffered greatly. I'm almost caught up on the wash. Yeah!!
