Finished another project- not perfect but neither am I

sometimes nessecities brings on the need to create. Monday, during Family home evening, it was pointed out to me that our family home evening chart was missing a part. Shucks that meant I had to make a new one. I guess I could have actually looked under the couch for the part but, that would be to easy. Maybe I'll look later.

Anyway, lately I've really enjoyed making things that involve maganets. This was my chance to do that again. First I needed to find a picture frame. I went digging through all my craft stuff to see what I may have put a side in case of ideas. Bingo found a nice wood frame, or at least it was once I finished with it. I had to glue it was together and use cut some glass (also saved for in case of idea) to fit it. Then I cut some steel to fit the backing for the frame.

After that I dug out all my scrap fabric. *I really should pick all of that up now that I'm done with it. *

Anyway, this is already to long. The picture below is what I ended up with. My kids of course have already complain that they are not shorter than John and I. My response was that it is not about the height but, about who's the parents and who's the kids. Oh, I've also had it pointed out to me that they have more muscles than that.

Next I had to make the assignment parts. So I put together some maganet dilly's that are interchangable for when the kids move out, go to school or on missions. Now as to the placement.

Not sure where I want to place the flowers. i've already had suggestions from one kid. My fear is they are going to end up covering everyone's face.
