This is the letter we recieved in the mail from Josie.

First of all I don't get to write often so please don't expect regular letters. I miss you guys very much. My ding battyness and general me-ness isn't doing good here. Anyway, I'm writing this thursay 17 dec. So not sure when it will be sent. . I need to address a new envelope. I screwed this one up.
Anyway, Stressed out, flustered, getting REALLY frustrated with OCD perfectionism. Feel really guilty. Dorm Chief does all these push ups and such.
I'm doing laundry crew, hate it so far. BAcked up laundry - YUCK! Is it wrong that I want to be fired ? I'm really good at cleaning chrome. I suck @EC duty. In fact SSGT Hill says I can only do EC duty in the early morning. I suck that much.
Yes, I know I'm writing you on day planner paper but, It's small paper and I was rushing @ the BX.
Anyway, yeah I know this isn't much of an update but, was given very, very little time to write. Flight 142 is barely learningto rush and work together. Actually we just rush we still don't know how to work together. I doubt I will see Great-Grandma and Grandpa. Visitors are FORBIDDEN prior to week 8. I really don't want to be recycled back a week.
Address - I hope you got cuz my handwriting bites. I hope you're all writing me cuz I only got one newsletter so far.
I LOVE YOU ALL
Jeremy- Good luck with rock climbingand dating and such.
JD - with theater
Jordan - don't be a civilian punk!
Mom- Hugs and Kisses
Dad- Hug and Kisses. I can't believe you went throught ththis partially more than once!!
More hugs all around. I hope this update was good for you.
Love you
Josie May

Needless to say I am a happy mama. I am so glad to see her messy handwriting and to be able to "hear" from her. Any one know what EC duty is??

Hooray! I'm glad you finally heard from her. I stuck the ward Christmas card in the mail for her today.
ReplyDeleteYeah! We have contact! Sounds like she's doing well despite how flustered she is, isn't that how they're supposed to feel at first? She might feel inferior now but when she gets home for a visit and sees how the rest of us operate, she'll realize how much she's accomplished! lol :)
ReplyDeleteI am sure you are in mommy heaven! I am glad she is getting through it all, even though it sounds hard. You are all in our thoughts and prayers!

ReplyDeleteThink it is guard duty. But this might help. Good luck.
