Keep in mind I have four hours to clean the house before my mom gets here. So I actually took a few minutes to contemplate this dession. As well as take the opinions of my facebook friends and family. After all they would never steer me wrong.
One of my former YW just thought I had to much time on my hands. My sister-in-law pretty much said "do it". And my former Relief Society President Double Dog Dared me. Such wise and knowledgeable women would never steer me wrong. That and I was "Double Dog" dared.
So off to the oven I went. Pulled out the seeds. Bummer only a cup of seeds. I wanted to fill the whole pan.

I put them in a oven set to 350 degrees and waited .....and waited....gave up went to my computer played a while. Heard something that sounded like rain. Josie came upstairs looked at me looked at the oven then back at me.
"Oh! Thanks Jo." I said as I hopped up to check the seeds I had forgotten about. Turns out the seeds sound like rain. Anyway I grabbed my camera to take a picture.
"What?!? That's it."

The scientist in me once again spoke up, okay you're right it was the impatient little kid in me, and said turn it to broil. So I did. Then I waited. Before I knew it there was much popping and rejoicing. It was much faster popping and therefore more entertaining.
The end result was a little bit of a downer. lol!!
My house is now full of smoke, the popcorn is burnt and my mom will be here in just over two hours. Assuming she doesn't show up early. However the only thing I learned from this is that I next time more seeds and less broil. ^_^
